"With brushes and paint I try to create beauty in my oil paintings. Sometimes attracted by color or texture, it's often simply the challenge of the subject matter itself that intrigues me. Whether I'm painting a landscape or a lovely porcelain vase, my job as an artist is to create mood or celebration in my work. As of late, my focus has been the still life. I have a fondness for collecting unique props that I can visualize in paintings. Also, it's the enjoyment of arranging a pleasing composition for the viewer. My hope is that my work will draw you into the beautiful world of still life."
